Coming to The Met: Krasner and Pollock: Past Continuous

Opening October 4, 2026, Krasner and Pollock: Past Continuous brings together more than 120 works by Lee Krasner and Jackson Pollock, tracing the development of two distinct artistic practices before, during, and after their shared life together. The exhibition takes its title from Krasner’s 1976 painting Past Continuous and highlights the experimentation, exchange, and continual evolution that shaped both artists’ work.

Harlem Frames is honored to have played a small part in preparing for the exhibition, custom framing two original works by Lee Krasner for their presentation at The Met. It was a privilege to handle and frame these works with the care, precision, and respect their exhibition presentation requires.
